The Cinema, at Home
Cinema SUB features two 13″ woofers from the Sub12 subwoofer in our professional range. They ensure maximum excursion and uncompromising bass control for powerful, punchy bass. With its top-of-the-range design, it integrates perfectly into multichannel systems, sublimating every musical explosion and nuance for an intensely cinematic experience.
Modular Installation
The subwoofer can be mounted on or in the wall, or positioned horizontally or vertically. It can also be combined with other Cinema SUB and as many Cinema LCR as required, for a tailor-made installation. And it’s discreetly integrated thanks to carefully designed fabric grilles.
Complete Solution
Utopia Cinema products – Cinema LCR and Cinema SUB – have been designed to create a complete and powerful home cinema installation. They can also be combined with the 1000 Series loudspeakers, which feature the same reference technologies such as the “W” cone of the speaker drivers, for total immersion with Utopia signature sound.

By developing and manufacturing its own membranes, Focal pushes the limits of innovation in acoustics. The sandwich “W” membrane of the loudspeakers plays an essential role in sound reproduction. It consists of two sheets of glass placed on either side of a central foam body; a sandwich construction that enables us to master the three key parameters of a good loudspeaker: lightness, rigidity and damping.
