The Subaru Impreza (2007) visited our shop in pursuit of some Audio/Video happiness. We could not deny it the chance of better, efficient and why not, luxurious life! It did not take long to agree what had to be done.
A brand new multimedia unit by ATOTO!
Once again, a beautiful car is being let down by a lackluster audio system. A touch-screen without Apps, no Navigation, no Siri and with really bad and tiring sound just like most OEM audio systems. Thankfully, with some love and effort, the OEM head-unit can be replaced with something much better that will elevate the sound performance while offering many new and exciting features. The A6 Performance has delivered the goods! Android Auto / CarPlay, Bluetooth, USB and many other goodies are now one touch away!
Replacing the front door speakers.
When a relative cost effective solution is needed, we normally turn our focus (no pun intended) to the Focal Auditor Line and this time to the RSE-165 componet set that always delivers a very potent performance regardless of the car that is being installed into!
Replacing the rear door speakers.
Just like the front doors, the rear doors needed the Powersound Treatment. Here is a photo of when our lovely Focal Auditor RCX-165 speakers were being installed. Our installer could not even finish off screwing all the screws. He really HAD TO take a photo!
The all important tweeters.
The is no doubt that when installing a new pair of tweeters, placement is of the outmost importance and this installation was no different. The result cannot be described with words. The separation of the Low/Mid frequencies with the High frequencies derives to a much more refined musical presentation!

The results
As expected. The ATOTO unit and the Focal Speakers delivered everything expected of it putting the OEM system to shame! The customer is really happy and cannot wait for further upgrades.
