Class-A Hybrid Stereo Poweramplifier
Hybrid Stereo Poweramplifier drawing from the legendary SP-331, the new SP-332 power amplifier was developed. Two additional 6N16 tubes were added to the input section to make the sound signal more warm dn natural. The VU-meters with user selectable colored backlighting complete the timeless design.
In line with the new hybrid pre-amplifier SA-32, we have also revised the power amplifier SP-331.
The result is the SP-332. At first glance immediately recognizable – the new VU meters on the front panel. The color backlight and the status LEDs can be switched between red, blue, green and white using a sliding switch on the back.
Inside, two 6N16 tubes working in differential push-pull form the input stage, giving the sound signal a certain warmth and naturalness. In the transistor output stage there are 8 large transistors available for the final amplification. These generate 150 watts per channel at 8 ohms – enough power to effortlessly drive even critical speakers
In the power supply, a 500W toroidal transformer provides the necessary power. Elcos with a capacity of 80,000 µF “buffer” them. Transferred to the sound creates a “dry”, powerful and deep bass fundament. The stabilization of the voltage is handled by a 6N15 tube.
Symmetrical and asymmetrical connections are available for connecting a preamplifier.
