PI170 – Active 2K DisplayPort / DVI Portsaver Adapter
DisplayPort devices can now be connected to DVI-ready screens – without straining the socket too much!
With the PI170 adapter, a DisplayPort output can easily be connected to a common DVI cable and a DVI-ready screen can be used for play back. Additionally, this adapter offers all features of a Portsaver, equipped with traction relief at the socket and a small bending radius. The custom-fit and gold-plated plugs guarantee a durable and undisturbed connection.

The Latest Generation
Our PureInstall DisplayPort to DVI adapters comply with the latest HDMI standard – HDMI High Speed. They support resolutions up to WUXGA (1920×1200) and are downward compatible with all former DP and DVI versions.
Extended Compatibility
The adapter converts signals from DisplayPort (plug) to DVI-D (socket) and therefore extends the compatibility of sources with DisplayPort output effectively by a DVI port for DVI-ready screens. The adapter is, however, not bidirectionally (from DVI source to DisplayPort sink) usable!
Never Again Worry about Worn Sockets
Portsavers are a reasonable addition when stiff and long and/or thick HDMI cables are being used. The Portsaver is being connected to the socket of the receiving device and reliefs it by picking up the traction coming from the connected cable. Additionally, our Portsavers have an extreme bending radius (up to 180°), thanks to their highly elastic manufacturing. This simplifies the use of stiff HDMI cables in fragile sockets.
