The ATB220 bass box has been developed for music lovers who want to provide their sound with the necessary space, but still don’t want to do without trunk loading space. 29.5 x 66.5 x 35.5 cm in size, the ATB220 continues to play where some subwoofers run out of breath – and generates enormous bass waves with playful ease, which impressively stage every electro beat, every guitar riff and every bass drum. AXTON’s bandpass subwoofer is a completely new development in which the cabinet size, practicality and speaker parts are perfectly tuned. Two powerful 20 cm woofers work in the low-resonance housing construction that have it all: Equipped with rigid paper cones with rubber surround and large 2 “/ 50 mm voice coils on polyimide formers, the drivers ensure powerful bass with a quick response. The high linear Xmax value of +/- 5.5 mm speaks for itself… The cabinet is made of sturdy MDF and covered with robust fleece. The port is flow-optimized to minimize air turbulence. The back of the housing is beveled so that it takes up as little space as possible when it is placed on the rear seat back. The Plug & Play bass box is quickly connected to the amplifier via the print terminal, also on the back of the box, and can be removed from the trunk just as quickly if necessary. The impressive output of 300 watts and 94 dB / 1 W / 1 m and the excellent installation characteristics make the smart ATB220 a convincing overall package with which bass can be easily achieved in the car.
