The X-522 is a top modern 2-DIN entertainer with a large 17.1 cm / 6.75″ touchscreen monitor, DAB+ and FM tuner, two USB ports and an extensive Bluetooth suite. However, the new XZENT is above all an ideal partner for smartphones as it supports both Apple CarPlay and Google Android AutoTM.

The capacitive, touch-sensitive 17.1 cm / 6.75“ LCD TFT screen can be operated like a smartphone and convinces with its durable glass surface panel as well as with its brilliant reproduction of images and videos.

SMART CONNECTION: DOCK YOUR MOBILE PHONE TO THE X-522
The USB port on the front panel lets you dock your phone directly to the X-522 – the XZENT then supports Apple CarPlay and Google Android AutoTM. Make phone calls, use Google or Apple maps, play music or send messages – the operation is convenient via the large touchscreen display or via voice control using Siri or Google’s voice assistant.

Apple CarPlay is a smarter, safer and more entertaining way to use an iPhone in the car. With CarPlay, you can make phone calls, navigate, listen to music, and access messages with Siri voice control.
Google Android Auto
Specially developed for the use of Android smartphones in the vehicle: With Android AutoTM you can use compatible apps and online services – with intuitive control via touchscreen or the Google voice assistant.
DAB+ AND FM: BEST RADIO RECEPTION
The X-522 is a top modern entertainer that convinces with its up-to-date functionality. The integrated DAB+ tuner ensures clear digital radio reception, but also scores with advanced comfort features. In areas without DAB+ broadcasting, the sensitive FM RDS tuner provides an excellent reception of conventional FM radio stations.
DAB+ tuner
Thanks to its integrated DAB+ tuner with MOT slideshow, DLS-text, Comfort Scan and DAB-DAB service following, the X-522 provides clear digital radio reception. An active DAB antenna is included in the set.
FM RDS radio
The FM RDS tuner features 18 station presets and is optimized for best reception in the EU area. This guarantees noise-free FM radio reception – even in areas with weaker signal levels.
MULTIMEDIA & SOUND
Enjoy your songs and videos via USB or via your smartphone: The X-522 features a second USB port on the device backside for connection of a USB memory device and related audio and video playback duties. Aside of the integrated 4 x 40 watts amplifier there is a graphic 8-band equalizer with several sound presets for best sound optimization in the target vehicle.
USB 2.0 A/V playback
The USB 2.0 port on the front panel supports connected smartphones with Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto. The rear-panel USB 2.0 port supports A/V media playback from USB media.
Graphic equalizer with sound-profiles
The X-522 features an 8-band graphic equalizer to control the sound balance in the cockpit, e.g. to optimize the sound of the factory speakers. 6 standard sound-profiles allow quick and easy sound adjustment.
Bluetooth module with A2DP
Bluetooth makes telephoning and listening to music in the vehicle much more comfortable: thanks to hands-free function with sync of up to 1,000 contacts, contact search function and 12 favorites, as well as BT audio streaming with song and artist info.
IR-In for external CAN/Stalk interfaces
The X-522 has an IR-In port. This input accepts separately available CAN or SWC adapters to integrate vehicle functions such as the multifunction steering wheel buttons.
Reversing camera connection
The X-522 has an input for rear view cameras with CVBS signal. The display of the camera image is triggered automatically by entering reverse gear. You can also manually display the camera function via the camera icon in the main menu.
Active DAB+ windshield antenna
An active DAB antenna is included in the scope of delivery. Simply attach it to the windshield and the digital signal can be received in the best quality. The antenna is universal for all vehicles and can be easily glued to the inside of the window.
